Android 11 is coming to Philips 2019/2020 Smart TVs

Good news for owners of a 2019 and 2020 vintage Philips Smart TV, the Android 11 update is coming soon.

Don't go through the Android 10 box, go directly to the Android 11 box... Monopoly Philips is good for owners of a connected TV from the 2019 or 2020 ranges.

Directly Android 11 for Philips 2019/2020 Smart TVs

The manufacturer has indeed decided to step over the Android 10 operating system, which is not very innovative compared to Android 9, and to directly offer Android 11 for its 2019 and 2020 Smart TVs. Previewed yesterday in certain European countries, the new Firmware might take a few days to be available everywhere.

Android 11, new features and gamepad compatibility

As a reminder, new Android 11 features include Gboard TV Keyboard with Speech-Text and Predictive Taping, HDMI ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) support in apps, and broader support for controllers gaming with Switch Pro (Bluetooth and USB) and Valve Steam (USB) controllers.
