Paramount on December 1, ask for the program

Life and death of streaming platforms. While the French Salto falters, the American Paramount+ arrives on December 1 in France.

This new streaming platform from the Paramount studio, owned by the giant ViacomCBS, will pass not only in France through the Canal+ channels (Canal+ Ciné Séries package) but also through the website and an application to download from Apple/Android Store via connected TVs and OTT platforms (visual below).

Ask for the program

For example, the Halo series (and many other Showtime titles), Yellowjackets, 1883 (one of the Yellowstone spin-offs), La Pat Patrouille seasons 1-6, Billions S1-6, but also cinema, Top Gun, Quietly 2 and a certain Mission impossible 7 in 2023.

Note that Paramount+ will use automatic subtitling for its content in France, YouTube or Twitter style, to the chagrin of the Audiovisual Translators/Adapters Association (ATAA). A loss of "meaning" and "style" which may annoy some... For its part, Paramount+ denies having wanted to move quickly to reach us at the price, we remind you, of €7.99 per month.
