It would be a simple hinge, thinner than the previous system and reducing the number of mechanical parts needed for folding-unfolding. This translates into increased sturdiness, more room for the famous stylus, and potentially a thinner device when folded.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4, target 13 million in 2022
According to the Korean media The Elec, the hinge supplier for Samsung will still be KH Vatec, more productive than alternatives such as S-Connect or AUFlex. Samsung aims to distribute 13 million Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 this year, more than the 7 million sold in 2021.
