Red Dead Redemption 2 in 8K, photorealistic or good?

We give you a glimpse of one of the most beautiful games of recent years, made even more beautiful by the magic of 8K Ultra HD technology.

After Assassin's Creed Black Flag in 8K, the YouTube channel Digital Dreams strikes again by increasing the resolution of the video game Red Dead Redemption 2 from RockStar Games, for the second time in less than a year.

Red Dead Redemption 2 in 8K

Released in 2019 (one year after the Xbox One and PS4 versions), it was the PC version that was used to achieve this feat, a supercharged PC of course, equipped in particular with the "war machine" graphics card RTX 3090 from nVidia. This new rendering uses nVidia's DLSS (for Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology, which takes advantage of artificial intelligence algorithms to improve the sharpness of an image as if it had originally been drawn in the displayed resolution (whereas actually no).

ReShade Beyond all Limits for Ray Tracing

The ReShade Beyond all Limits rendering application is also used to simulate Ray Tracing, a 3D rendering technique that traces the path of light and simulates its effects when it comes into contact with objects in a scene, offering a striking result and realism.
