With more and more reports about the screen getting damaged in the same place, the iPhone Duo is getting off to a difficult media start, and its longtime rival is taking the opportunity to kick them while they’re down and mock them generously. Apple’s very first foldable-screen smartphone, the iPhone Duo, had barely been announced when Samsung was already making fun of it, with the Korean manufacturer able to boast that it had arrived on the market (and even created it) seven years earlier. On its Canadian Instagram account, Samsung posted images reproducing these screen defects, accompanied by messages such as “Foldable is nothing new to us. Switch to the Galaxy Z Fold 8”.
