Final Porta Japanese earphones, the lightest in the world?

Imagine a wireless headset with an almost nonexistent headband. In fact, don’t imagine it, since the Japanese manufacturer Final has tried it with its latest model named Porta.

A retro look that evokes the original Sony Walkman for the Porta Bluetooth audio headset, signed by Japanese company Final. But that’s not all.

A headset that hangs by a thread

The device also stands out above all for a headband so thin that it becomes almost invisible, since it is practically reduced to a metal wire. Similar to a kind of giant paper clip, the headband has an “AirWire” structure, to use Final’s term.

Minimalist design and 40 g on the scale

The result of this minimalist design is a headset that weighs only 40 g, to be unfairly compared with models such as the AirPods Max 2, which weigh 386 grams. Offering up to 8 hours of battery life (USB-C charging), the headset does not have noise cancellation, but it is compatible with AAC and SBS for high-definition streaming.

Available in Japan only at the recommended price of 12,800 yen (about €73). Note that Final sells most of its products internationally via its Amazon page, so keep an eye out if you’re interested.
