Teufel Cinebar Pro 2: Dolby Atmos 5.1.2 soundbar, DTS:X and wireless subwoofer

German manufacturer Teufel announces the Cinebar Pro 2. A soundbar with a powerful 5.1.2 architecture, equipped with ten speakers and accompanied by a wireless subwoofer, to transform any living room into a real movie theater.

Thought of as a serious, modern alternative to heavy Home Cinema systems made up of several speakers (front, center and surround), the new Teufel Cinebar Pro 2 brings together all the expertise of the Berlin brand. With its clean lines and slim profile, the bar is designed to fit easily under a television. Under the hood, however, the beast does not mess around. Its fully active architecture (Class D delivering a total output of 232.5 W) relies on no fewer than ten high-performance transducers to deliver a solid surround bubble, rich in promise in terms of sonic immersion.

Teufel Cinebar Pro 2, coaxial speakers and vertical channels The heart of the system is based on three coaxial speakers, combining a 19 mm silk [abc]tweeter[/abc] and a 76 mm [abc]midrange[/abc]-[abc]woofer[/abc], supported by two 76-millimeter lateral full-range speakers. A design that guarantees ultra-precise localization of effects, voices that are always intelligible, and a stable stereo image, even if the listener is not sitting exactly in the center of the sofa. Above all, the Cinebar Pro 2 integrates two 3.5" (8.9 cm) speakers directly aimed at the ceiling. By exploiting sound reflection, these vertical channels are combined with the brand’s proprietary Dynamore spatial processing technology to enhance [abc]Dolby Atmos[/abc] and [abc]DTS:X.[/abc] tracks. The result is a soundstage considerably expanded in height, width and depth, capable of immersing you in the rain or physically flying a helicopter overhead.

Teufel Cinebar Pro 2, full streaming and HDMI 2.1 A true entry point for all home entertainment, the network and connectivity section of this soundbar is no slouch either. Thanks to its Wi-Fi chip and the Teufel Home mobile app, which allows the soundbar to be controlled via a smartphone, the system natively supports [abc]AirPlay 2[/abc] and [abc]Chromecast (intégré)[/abc]. Access to music platforms is also provided with Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and TuneIn for [abc]webradios[/abc]. [abc]Bluetooth[/abc] 5.3 compatibility must also be mentioned. On the wired side, the bar is fully equipped with two [abc]HDMI[/abc] 2.1 inputs and one HDMI [abc]eARC[/abc]/[abc]CEC[/abc] output. Enough to easily connect next-generation consoles or a media player without giving up the latest audio and video formats. There is also an [abc]optical[/abc] input, an auxiliary input and an [abc]Ethernet[/abc] port. To top it all off, a polished interface with an OLED display, touch controls and five listening modes (Movie, Music, Game, Voice+ and Night) makes everyday use easier.

Teufel Cinebar Pro 2, subwoofers and 7.1.2 evolution To underpin its dynamics, the Teufel Cinebar Pro 2 comes with a dedicated wireless subwoofer, with 150 W of power, offering total freedom of placement in the room. In its standard version, Teufel supplies the brand-new T 10 Mk2 model for deep, punchy bass (a more affordable Select version is offered with the T 8 subwoofer). Finally, the manufacturer has thought about the expandability of its equipment: if the basic 5.1.2 setup is not enough to satisfy your ears, it is entirely possible to add the optional Effekt 2 wireless surround speakers. The system then instantly, and logically, switches to a 7.1.2 configuration, radically increasing immersion thanks to real discreet rear channels.
