This one wasn't part of the 2026 bingo... As digital fatigue pushes a growing number of users towards disconnecting, a historic microcomputer brand is seizing the opportunity. Riding the wave of "dumbphones," Commodore, a legend of 80s computing, is resurrecting the spirit of the flip phone from the 2000s with the Callback 8020. A deliberately unconventional device that takes a completely different approach to the market by promising to protect its owner's attention without sacrificing the music experience.
Known for the C64 and the Amiga, legendary computers of the 80s and 90s, Commodore is still in the game, this time with a completely unexpected product: the Commodore Callback 8020. A smartphone with a look straight out of the early 20th century, "no social networks, no email, no browser, and no excuses." The Commodore Callback 8020 features a headphone jack and an audiophile DAC. In short, a "detox" model for making calls, sending messages, and listening to music. Speaking of which, the device is equipped with the now extremely rare headphone jack and comes with a pair of earphones. What's more, it features an "audiophile"-grade DAC (dual ESS/Cirrus Logic digital-to-analog converter) with lossless sound and is Spotify compatible.

Commodore Callback 8020, SID ringtones and C64 nostalgia££££
The old-school Commodore touch is found in the ringtones, which use the characteristic "SID" (Sound Interface Device) sound of the C64, as well as a selection of games from that era, including a little Snake game as a tribute to Nokia.
