Apple iPhone Air 2: Dual camera, A20 chip and improved battery life coming in spring 2027

Expected in spring 2027, the Apple iPhone Air 2 is starting to reveal its secrets. According to leaks shared by Bloomberg, the second iteration of the ultra-chic smartphone from the Cupertino company will address the main criticism leveled at its predecessor by adopting a second wide-angle camera sensor. The device will also benefit from increased battery life.
Corroborating previous rumors, Bloomberg reports that the iPhone Air 2 will arrive in spring 2027, with a second wide-angle camera lens. Advanced testing and energy optimization: Mark Gurman of Bloomberg specifies that the device is already in advanced testing and will be visually similar to the previous model, except for the second camera, of course. Another stated improvement is longer battery life. Given that the iPhone's size will not be increased, the battery capacity will also remain the same. In fact, the increased battery life will come from the quality of the new, more energy-efficient components. The A20 chip, manufactured using a 2nm process, and the launch window are expected to be significant. Regarding this, the iPhone Air 2 should use an A20 processor manufactured using a 2nm process (3nm for the first iPhone Air), resulting in greater efficiency that will therefore impact battery life. The iPhone Air 2 will arrive in spring 2027, alongside the "base" iPhone 18 and the iPhone 18e.
