Philips P5 10th generation processor: Dual Engine exclusive to the OLED951 series

A look back at the presentation of the new Philips Mini LED and OLED TVs, unveiled by the brand two weeks ago, featuring the new P5 image processor, available in various versions depending on the series. The most advanced version, the 10th Gen P5 AI Dual Engine, is exclusive to the Philips OLED951 TVs.
The chip comes in three main families depending on the series: the 7th generation P5, already used last year for the entry-level Philips LED PQS9001 and Philips PUS8601; the 7th generation P5 AI for the first affordable Mini LED and OLED series (Philips MLED911 and Philips OLED761 respectively); and finally the 10th generation P5 AI for the higher-end models, the Philips Mini LED TVs MLEP981 and the Philips OLED811, Philips OLED911, and Philips OLED951 OLED TVs. Philips P5 10th Gen AI Dual Engine: an exclusive feature for the OLED TV series. This dual-processor variant includes several new features not offered by any other model in the range: the Perfect Natural Reality 3.0 algorithm, Specular Highlights for more accurate rendering of bright areas, AI Smart Bit Enhancement 3.0, and AI Motion, which is still being finalized. It also features a fourth-generation artificial intelligence module, compared to the V2 module found in other 10th-generation models. Of course, we also find two other new features of the 10th generation P5 chip: Advanced HDR V2 with Bidirectional Tone Mapping V2 and Ambient Intelligence V4. Namely, Dany Tack states that the 10th generation P5 (not the Dual Engine version) already offers capabilities superior to those advanced by Dolby Vision 2 HDR processing in its Max version… Philips OLED951: Meta V4 and Dual Engine for the very high end. The Philips OLED951 displays also benefit from a Meta V4 panel from LG Display, the most advanced OLED panel technology currently available. Combined with the P5 Dual Engine Gen 10 chip, it positions these models, available in 65" and 77", clearly apart from the rest of the Philips 2026 catalog. We would have loved an 83" diagonal…
