Philips TAR3500, a survival radio for critical situations

TP Vision unveils a new generation of emergency radio, designed for adventure and power outages. The Philips TAR3500 combines ruggedness, extra-long battery life, and advanced emergency features. An essential companion whether you're going trekking or preparing the 72-hour kit recommended by a growing number of European authorities.
The Philips TAR3500 builds upon the foundations of its predecessor, but goes much further in every area. It offers digital AM/FM reception via a 550 mm long antenna, a clear LED display, and a simplified interface with automatic search and 40 preset stations. Its 5200 mAh Li-ion battery provides up to 60 hours of listening time, almost twice that of the previous model, and the Power Bank function allows you to charge a smartphone via its USB-A port. The Philips TAR3500 is an emergency radio for critical situations. In an emergency, the radio has a dedicated SOS button that simultaneously activates a powerful siren, a flashing light, and an ultrasonic whistle to aid in location by search and rescue teams. And if the power runs out, the TAR3500 can be powered via USB-C, solar panel, hand crank, or even four AAA batteries. Philips TAR3500: Built for adventure, designed to last. Designed to withstand harsh environments, the Philips TAR3500 boasts an IP55 rating, guaranteeing protection against dust and water splashes. Compact (186 × 103 × 77 mm), lightweight (0.67 kg), and equipped with a 530 mm strap, it easily attaches to a tent, vehicle, or backpack. Philips also includes a flashlight, reading light, and a 3.5 mm mini-jack headphone socket for more versatile use, day or night.
