iPhone 18 Pro Max, the heaviest of them all?

According to leaker Ice Universe, whose reliability has been proven several times so far, the iPhone 18 Pro Max will be 8.8 mm thick, slightly more than its predecessor's 8.75 mm. The iPhone 18 Pro Max, the largest of all iPhones… This half-millimeter difference could be significant, as the device could become the thickest and consequently heaviest iPhone ever released, a record currently held by the iPhone 14 Pro Max at 240 grams. The increased volume would allow for a larger battery capacity, already mentioned in previous rumors, which should be between 5,100 and 5,200 mAh (5,088 mAh for the eSIM version of the iPhone 17 Pro Max). Note that these changes would not affect the screen size, which would remain at 6.9 inches (17.52 cm) diagonally. The iPhone 18 Pro Max is expected to be released in September 2026.
