iOS 26 on iPhone, it actually takes quite a while.

The aesthetic overhaul, anticipated (or not?) for years, has finally arrived with the latest iPhone operating system, iOS 26, which is not as unpopular as some predicted.
Last September saw the arrival of the new iPhone software update, iOS 26, the most significant in years, notably for its completely redesigned interface dubbed "Liquid Glass." iPhone owners overwhelmingly embrace iOS 26. This change, initially met with a lukewarm reception from some users, has ultimately won them over five months later. This is according to recently released official Apple data. The data reveals that 74% of all iPhones introduced in the last four years are running iOS 26, and 66% of all iPhones are also running iOS 26. This is far from Statcounter's estimates from last January, which predicted around 15%. For comparison, in January of last year, these figures were 76% and 68% respectively for iOS 18, released four months earlier. A similar result was achieved, although—exceptionally—the 2026 data was released a month later, thus giving iOS 26 a little more time to settle in.
