CES 26 > Sony Bravia 9 II Mini LED TV, first updated specifications

Following our news about Sony's filing of the True RGB trademark (see our CES 26 news > Sony True RGB 2026: the Japanese manufacturer's response is being prepared…) and the first rumors about the various Sony TV series for 2026 (see our CES 26 news > Sony Bravia 9 II and Bravia 7 II Mini LED TVs, the first suspected specifications), new rumors have appeared on the internet, again originating from the same Chinese streamer, Salivaxiu_Zhang Qiqi-Miaou.
On the plus side, these new rumors are written in English and not just Chinese. As usual, they should be taken with a grain of salt, but they do align with the various leaks that have surfaced in recent months, or even years.

Sony Bravia 9 II RGB Mini LED TV, 4 models from 65" to 115"?££££

If we are to believe the announcements from the Chinese "leaker" Salivaxiu_Zhang Qiqi-Miaou, the Sony Bravia 9 II series would now have four models corresponding to 65", 75", 85" and 115" screen sizes, the 98" would therefore disappear from the series:

• Sony K-65XR90M2 (65", 165 cm)

• Sony K-75XR90M2 (75", 191 cm)

• Sony K-85XR90M2 (85", 216 cm)

• Sony K-115XR90M2 (115", 292 cm)

Sony Bravia RGB Mini LED TV 9 II, suspected updated specifications

Similarly, the screen coating is now reportedly called True Black Panel (the AG47LR specification is said to be incorrect), with a matte finish, while the WHVA 2.0 panel (XWA viewing angle, for Extended Wide Angle) found on the 65", 75", and 85" models is said to come from the manufacturer CSOT. Sony might call this panel WHVA 2.0 Pro. For its part, the 115" model would adopt the same panel (identical to that of the TCL 115X11L) but with an exclusive anti-reflective coating. Finally, the video mentions the absence of Dolby Vision 2 support. We also learn that the 75" model would have 15,000 Mini LED RGB zones, reduced to a total of 5,000 individual zones (15,000/3 considering the RGB triplets). The other expected specifications remain the same, with a peak brightness of 4,000 nits. This TV series is expected to be released in May or June.
