While videos from the set are already starting to leak, Nintendo has released three promising images from the very first live-action The Legend of Zelda film.
Nintendo's star designer Shigeru Miyamoto recently posted the first official photos of the Sony Pictures-co-produced The Legend of Zelda movie on X, adding that filming is underway (we already knew that). Meanwhile, YouTuber Gregasms released two short videos from the set in New Zealand. These sequences have a somewhat seedy, paparazzi-like feel, but if you're feeling voyeuristic, feel free to check them out here and here. Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth are entering into legend. The images showcase lush green scenery and the two lead actors. As a reminder, the role of Link is played by 16-year-old Benjamin Evan Ainsworth, who rose to fame as Miles Wingrave in Mike Flanagan's horror miniseries The Haunting of Bly Manor. And it's 21-year-old Bo Bragason who plays Princess Zelda. The young actress has appeared in British miniseries such as Three Girls, The Jetty, and King and Conqueror. The film will be released in May 2027.
