Samsung S95F OLED TV, officially G-Sync compatible

Samsung officially announced a few days ago that its S95F televisions are compatible with nVidia's G-Sync technology.

While the Korean manufacturer's official announcement concerns the Samsung S95F Oled TV series (click on the following reference, Samsung TQ55S95F, to discover its full test by the AVcesar editorial team), the Korean firm specifies that the Samsung S85F and Samsung S90F series will also be affected by the end of 2025. As a reminder, the G-Sync nVidia process is the equivalent of AMD's FreeSync and aims to synchronize the broadcaster's display frequency with that of the AMD or nVidia graphics card, to avoid the Tearing phenomenon (image tearing) and offer a smooth experience. Thus, via the Samsung S95F Oled TVs, the FreeSync Premium Pro and G-Sync technologies operate up to 165 hertz.

In the words of Kevin Lee, Executive VP of Visual Display Customer Experience at Samsung Electronics££££

"With nVidia G-Sync compatibility and our most advanced gaming features yet, Samsung 2025 OLED TVs deliver top-tier performance for even the most competitive gamers," said Kevin Lee, Executive Vice President of Visual Display Customer Experience at Samsung Electronics. "By building on our leadership in display innovation and incorporating real-time AI enhancements, we're redefining what gamers can expect from a TV, both on and off the battlefield."

Clarification: a selection of Samsung premium TVs ([abc]LCD[/abc] Mini [abc]LED[/abc] and [abc]Oled[/abc]) have been supporting a G-Sync signal for some time now (we mentioned this in our reviews in recent years after checking it for the references that passed through our test lab). Today, it's partially official!
