Apple, in search of the unbreakable foldable screen

The foldable screen iPhone isn't here yet, but the day it does arrive its screen will be flawless.

You know the story, all brands offer their foldable screen smartphone, and it's only when Apple enters this sector that this technology will really explode with the general public. Except that Apple is in no hurry and is taking its time to perfect this hypothetical future iPhone, which may not even see the light of day.

Apple patents for self-repairing foldable screen

Foldable screens are notorious for their relative fragility, and last year the company patented a self-healing screen technology that could be used on such a smartphone. More recently, another patent granted to Apple (source Patently Apple) goes in this direction, the document describing a foldable screen resistant to breakage. In detail, it is composed of several layers that are both strong and flexible.

So be patient, especially since Apple will probably launch an iPad with a foldable screen before the iPhone. The impatient have already built their own foldable iPhone, if you want to take a look.
