Apple: record quarter with revenue of $109 billion ahead of the announcement of the iPhone 18

Generally considered the calmest period of the year, the April to June window nevertheless offered Apple insolent growth. With 109.4 billion dollars in revenue, the Cupertino company is blowing past its records, just before having to confront the delicate question of rising component costs.

Tim Cook can smile. For his very last quarter at the helm of Apple as CEO, the businessman closes spring 2026 on an extremely positive note. With revenues set at $109.4 billion for the months of April, May and June, the apple brand posts spectacular growth of +16% compared with the same period last year. A real feat for a traditionally quiet quarter, generally devoid of major hardware launches.

Apple, the iPhone and Services as absolute engines In detail, of these exceptional results, the iPhone remains the undisputed king of Cupertino. Smartphone sales alone generated $54.25 billion, marking an impressive jump of +21.7% year on year. The company’s other financial pillar, the Services division (including iCloud, Apple Music, Apple TV+, etc.), confirms its status as the company’s second economic lifeline. With $30.73 billion collected (+12.7%), this segment records a twelfth consecutive month of uninterrupted growth.

The only small blemish on this spring performance is the iPad, which is slowing down. Despite the launch of a new iPad Air last March, tablet sales are down -5.9% to $6.19 billion. For its part, the accessories division (AirPods, Apple Watch...) is doing very respectably with growth of +6.5% ($7.88 billion).

Apple, heading for a price increase for the iPhone 18 Pro? Beyond these record figures, this quarter also marks a real strategic turning point for the California company. Faced with the ongoing explosion in the cost of electronic components, Apple has in fact decided to revise upward the pricing grid of several of its products in order to preserve its margins. If smartphones have so far been spared by this inflationary policy, that could well change as soon as the back-to-school period. Attention is now turning to next September, when the much-anticipated iPhone 18 Pro lineup could also undergo a painful price correction.
