Colored AirPods… in 2016 (but actually no)

Kosutami, a collector of rare prototypes already mentioned in our pages, has gotten his hands on first-generation iPods sporting unique colors. Colorful prototype AirPods, Apple ultimately chooses white. Indeed, before Apple's first wireless earbuds were released in 2016, the manufacturer had considered offering them in several colors to match the shades of the iPhone 7, which was released at the same time. Five colors were planned, but as we know, Apple ultimately stuck with white, until now. It should be noted that in the photos published by Kosutami, only the charging case is colored; the earbuds themselves remain white.
