At the top of the Micro RGB range sits the MRGB95B series, available in 75" (191 cm), 86" (218 cm), and 100" (254 cm). LG mentions "more than a thousand individual zones" in its Micro RGB backlighting, a figure far from the solutions with over 20,000 zones already seen from some competitors, but which should nevertheless represent a significant leap in quality compared to more conventional Mini LEDs. The whole system is powered by the Alpha 11 processor, previously reserved for the brand's OLED TVs, here in its Alpha 11 AI Gen 3 version equipped with Double Super Upscaling processing to simultaneously manage two upscaling processes via artificial intelligence. It also features a 165 Hz display (and 165 Hz VRR) and the 330 Hz Motion Boost function. (in 1080p) is also included, as is FreeSync Premium compatibility. LG also claims extreme color performance with the RGB Primary Color Ultra process: 100% coverage of the BT.2020, DCI-P3, and Adobe RGB gamuts, with Intertek certification to back it up. On paper, this should far surpass the vast majority of 2025 TVs, both LCD and OLED, which essentially only cover the entirety or almost the entire DCI-P3 gamut, even though most content is mastered in this gamut. We'll see if the promise is kept… LG MRGB9M and LG MRGB85 Micro RGB TVs. The LG group is expected to take advantage of CES 2026 to unveil two other Micro RGB series. The MRGB9M series, comprising the LG 65MRGB9M (65", 165 cm), LG 75MRGB9M (75"), and LG 86MRGB9M (86", 219 cm), retains most of the technical specifications of the MRGB95 (Alpha 11 Gen 3 processor included), with the addition of RGB Primary Color Pro technology and a 2026 ZeroConnect 144 Hz wireless connection box (see photo below), designed to relocate the connections and simplify wall mounting. The 288 Hz Motion Boost function (in 1080p) is also included. The LG MRGB85 series, for its part, includes five models: the LG 50MRGB85 (50", 127 cm), LG 55MRGB85 (55", 140 cm), LG 65MRGB85, LG 75MRGB85, and LG 86MRGB85. Equipped with the Alpha 8 Gen 3 chip, it aims to democratize Micro RGB technology. More affordable but still featuring a 144 Hz display (and 288 Hz Motion Boost in 1080p), these TVs will also offer fewer zones and likely less sophisticated video processing (specifications to be announced later). Of course, all these models will share the new webOS 26 interface with a highly customizable My Page home screen and a pervasive AI overlay (Copilot and Gemini) for both content recommendation and video processing.

Park Hyoung-sei, President of LG Media Entertainment, speaks out££££
Park Hyoung-sei, President of LG Media Entertainment, leaves little doubt about the brand's ambitions with the LG MRGB85, MG MRGB9M, and LG MRGB95 TV series. He mentions a milestone "once considered impossible" for this type of television and a redefinition of RGB TV standards for the most demanding users.
With the LG MRGB85, MG MRGB9M, and LG MRGB95 series, the Korean manufacturer has set the bar very high ahead of the competing announcements from Samsung, Sony, Hisense, and TCL expected at CES 2026.
