Launched in partnership with the Vilnius Tourism Office, this appeal takes advantage of the popularity of the famous Apple TV series, whose fourth season currently airing is focused precisely on a women's football team. As a bonus, Jason Sudeikis himself has Lithuanian roots, giving even more credibility to this attempt that could otherwise have been described as opportunistic.
"You know the famous yellow "Believe" sign in Ted Lasso's locker room?," said Andrius Tapinas, president of Zalgiris FC. Here, in Vilnius, we believe 100% in Ted. So we are offering him, as well as the legendary Coach Beard, a real challenge, a real team and an authentic A Lyga match".
