The word to Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming££££
So it was without batting an eyelid that we recently listened to Phil Spencer (CEO of Microsoft Gaming) on the Gamertag Radio podcast, expressing his enthusiasm for the idea of developing Xbox games for Nintendo's brand new Switch 2. "I always applaud the decisions they make," Spencer said of Nintendo and the Switch 2. "I know we'll be sharing more details over time, and I'm really looking forward to supporting them with the games that we have."
A strategy that's hardly surprising given that some analysts see Microsoft shutting down consoles and becoming a game developer in the long term, and recent rumors claim that former Xbox exclusives are coming to PlayStation in the near future.
