Comprising a 3-way speaker, the Focal Cinema LCR, and the Focal Cinema Sub bass cabinet, the Utopia Cinema range from the French manufacturer is designed for private cinema rooms of up to 200 m², enough to satisfy larger families and users wishing to entertain their entire neighborhood.
Focal Cinema LCR, versatile loudspeaker££££
The Cinema LCR (see photo below) is a high SPL (sound pressure level) loudspeaker equipped with a new 1.5" (3.81 cm) Beryllium tweeter in M (to extend the very high response without distortion), a new 5" (12.7 cm) W cone midrange in M (for impressive dynamic range and transparency) and a 13" (33 cm) W cone woofer with high excursion, housed in a solid cabinet and associated with a large vent.
Focal Cinema Sub, subwoofer££££
The Cinema Sub is tuned to 19 Hz, and has two 13-inch woofers. We note for this model a large front laminar vent, to minimize distortions while maximizing sound pressure.
Focal Cinema, modular installation££££
The installation of these references is modular, and they can be fixed on or in the wall, positioned horizontally or vertically and added to the desired number. Below, two examples of dedicated rooms where you can see the placement of the speakers in the room - front stage behind the screen, on the ceiling and surround stage - and the same space with its finishes. Note, in addition, a possible association with the Focal 1000 Series integration speakers.
