PlayStation 6: 8K at 60 fps, 4K at 120 fps

Latest rumors on the next Sony console, in which the processor manufacturer AMD should still participate.

The PlayStation 5 is only a little over three years old on the market and a PS5 Pro update is still rumored but that doesn't stop the future PS6 rumored for 2027/2028 from fuel heated discussions behind the scenes.

The latest information is reported by the YouTube channel Moore's Law Is Dead - known to be reliable - which affirms with "100%" certainty that the manufacturer of AMD processors will still be a partner on the PS5 Pro and PS6. The latter should therefore be able to run games in Ultra HD 8K resolution at 60 frames per second, and UHD 4K at 120 frames per second. Another YouTube channel also reputed to be reliable -RedGamingTech- corroborates the information, specifying that if Sony has trusted AMD since the PlayStation 4, it is in particular thanks to backward compatibility (possibility of running games from previous generations) and to a team at AMD dedicated to specific solutions for consoles.
