Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro, in homage to the Samsung SGH-E700 from 2003

Samsung is celebrating 20 years of one of its first flip mobile phones, with a limited “Retro” edition of the Galaxy Z Flip 5.

In 2003, the Samsung SGH-E700 was released, a flip phone notable for its technical advances: Samsung's first model including an internal rather than protruding antenna, and an external screen allowing in particular to capture selfies.

In homage to this legendary device, Samsung is launching a limited edition of its latest foldable screen smartphone, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 Retro. The mobile thus uses the indigo and silver colors of its ancestor, as well as a clock widget on the external screen mimicking that of the SGH-E700 model.

Available in limited quantities in Australia, Germany, Korea, Spain, Kingdom -United and in France, exclusively via the Samsung website. Indicative price: 1,399 euros.
