But the ultimate spin off, the one awaited by all fans of the saga, The Walking Dead: Rick and Michonne, therefore becomes The Walking Dead: the One who Live. It will be broadcast on February 24 on the AMC channel, and in France on OCS.
The series will focus on the fate of the two emblematic characters of the original series, namely Rick Grimes and Michonne, the two warrior lovers who disappeared from the last seasons of the main series, but who were still known to be alive by the 'through some revealing shots…
An epic love story
The two actors would have been directly involved in the creation of the spin-off series and in the development of their respective characters. Franchise regular Scott M. Gimple serves as showrunner for the series. The official synopsis states: “The series features an epic love story of two characters who have been changed by the post-apocalyptic world. Separated by distance. By unstoppable power. Pursued by the ghosts of who they were. Rick and Michonne are thrown into another world that was built on the war against the dead... And ultimately, a war against the living. Can they find themselves in a place and situation they have never experienced before? ”.
