The success of the film adaptation of Suzanne Collins' literary saga, The Hunger Games, quickly gave Hollywood the idea of a spin-off. This is how in 2017, with the help of the novelist, the project for a prequel was launched. On one side literary, on the other cinematographic. In 2020, the author published the novel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of the Songbirds and Snakes and its film version was immediately announced in production.
The 10th Hunger Games are almost open
The events recounted take place 64 years before the original story and focus on the youth of Coriolanus Snow, the character played in the original saga by Donald Sutherland.
