The Consumer Insights study by Statista surveyed in 2023 between 1,500 and 2,000 French people (aged 18 to 64) to find out their favorite brand of smartphones.
The iPhone, the French's favorite smartphone
Once again, it is the iPhone which wins with 35% of Apple users, followed by Samsung with 32% (same figures as in 2022). Next come the Chinese Xiaomi and Huawei with 12% and 6% respectively. The graph below represents the evolution of the market share of each of these manufacturers, and we note that Samsung was first in our territory for a long time before being overtaken by Apple only last year. Similar race between the Chinese Huawei and Xiaomi, the first having been ahead of its competitor before also being overtaken last year.
