Official: Dune Part II release postponed to March 2024

Warner Bros. Picture is turning its theatrical release schedule upside down, starting with Dune Part II, which has been officially pushed back to March 2024.

Initially, the sequel to Dune, still directed by Denis Villeneuve, was to be released on November 3. It has now been postponed to March 15 in the USA.

Chain reports due to writers/directors strike

Same sanction for the blockbuter Godzilla X Kong: the New Empire which is pushed back to April 12 of next year. And the domino effect continues with the animated film The Lord of the Rings: War for Rohirrim, which runs from April 12 to December 13, 2024.

However, there are three important films that Warner has not "yet" changed the release date of: Wonka still scheduled for December 15, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on December 20 and The Color Purple on December 25. Source: Deadline
