Bunker Palace Hotel, the first SF feature (1989) by Enki Bilal and directed by Jean-Louis Trintignant, Carole Bouquet and Maria Schneider, will be released for the first time on Blu-Ray on October 17 by Rimini Éditions.

In a dystopian dictatorship, the dignitaries of the regime are evacuated to a luxurious underground shelter while waiting for their leader to bring the ongoing revolution to heel. The Bunker Palace Hotel is both a refuge and a palace with android staff. It was conceived and is directed with an iron fist by the sinister Holm (Jean-Louis Trintignant). But the leader of the junta is slow to arrive and the synthetic staff of the place begins to show worrying signs of dysfunction…
