Google should a priori release its new range of Pixel 8 smartphones next October, and leaks and rumors have already been going strong for a few months.
Google Pixel 8 Pro, pre-production prototype in photos
This time for the first time appears a photo of the device itself -the Pixel 8 Pro- or rather of a pre-production prototype. We owe it to a "leaker" on the Reddit forum, whose message was quickly spotted by Google and deleted, but the image has meanwhile been recovered by the droid life site. We can see in the photo features already mentioned on previous leaks, confirming their authenticity: for example the positioning of the photo module at the back, with a sensor under the flash which could be the infrared temperature sensor. Also note a different curvature on the rear corners compared to the previous model. Finally, we notice a matte finish on the back, perhaps a particularity of the prototype, perhaps not knowing that the Pixel Fold also has this finish.
