From 6 to 400 billion, evolution of Apple turnover

With the Vision Pro headset as a groundbreaking product, will mixed reality be the new market segment that will dominate Apple's revenue?

The Statista site has traced the evolution of Apple's turnover since 2001, segment by segment (iPhone, services, Mac, etc.). If today the company reaches almost 400 billion dollars in turnover (in 2022), it was in 2001 about 6 billion.

Apple Vision Pro and mixed reality, future Eldorado for the Cupertino company?

We don't yet know what place the new Vision Pro mixed reality headset will take among all of Apple's offerings, but anything is possible. Remember that the Apple Watch, which arrived in 2015, was not initially perceived as an essential product, and that today Apple dominates this market thanks in particular to literally vital functionalities.

The iPhone dominates the Apple turnover

As for the iPhone launched in 2007, it quite simply imposed the concept of the smartphone and now accounts for more than half of Apple's turnover, even if the biggest contributors to growth in recent years are services (App Store, Music, etc.) and wearables (i.e. Apple Watch, AirPods, etc.)
