Sony is preparing more Spider-Man, welcome to the Spider-Verse

Sony is not ready to give up on producing films with Spider-Man, quite the contrary.

On the occasion of the theatrical release of the excellent Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, which follows the equally successful Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021), producers Amy Pascal and Avi Arad spoke with Variety about the character's cinematic future.

Spider-Woman full throttle

When asked if one day a live action film with the animated character of Miles Morales or Spider Woman could be a concrete project, Amy Pascal answered in a very clear way: “All of this is going to happen. Before I add that for Spider-Woman in particular: It should happen sooner than expected. And to conclude: I can't tell you when yet, but it's coming! ”.

Sony weaves its web

She then confirmed that there would be a fourth Spider-Man starring Tom Holland, but that development on the film had been put on hold due to the writers' strike. In short, Sony continues to weave its cinematographic web with the emblematic character of Spider-Man soon to be declined in all its forms.
