During the recent Star Wars Celebration Europe, Variety spoke with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy asking about, among other things, the future of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series, knowing that part fans want a second season.
“Everyone is in full”
"It's not in active development," she said. But I never say never, because there is always a possibility. This series was so well received and Deborah Chow (the director) did a spectacular job. Ewan McGregor really wants to do another one. Everyone is into what we're doing right now, as you can see from what we showed everyone (during the Celebration). Maybe we'll focus on that later."
