The X-Files soon the reboot!

Ryan Coogler, director of Black Panther and Creed, is preparing a new version of the iconic series The X-Files.

It was the creator of the original series, Chris Carter himself, who released the information during an interview. He clarified that Ryan Coogler was indeed working on a new version of the franchise. However, he remained vague on the format and the scenario in development (reboot or sequel?). What is certain is that the cast will be completely renewed.

A story without end

The original series featured FBI agents Fox Mulder (David Duchovny) and Dana Scully (Gillian Anderson), who investigate supernatural phenomena. Originally nine seasons long (1993 to 2001), The X-Files was relaunched for two more seasons in 2016. The franchise has a total of no less than 218 episodes and 2 feature films.
