Already announced in our columns, the next Sonos Era 100 and Sonos Era 300 multiroom speakers (see our news Sonos Era 300 and Era 100, new generation of Dolby Atmos speakers) can also be used as surround in a Home Cinema configuration .

It is once again our colleagues from The Verge site who are revealing the info, the next Sonos Era 300 and Era 100 speakers can be used in surround, combined with Sonos Arc or Sonos Beam Gen 2 soundbars.

Sonos Era 300 and Sonos Era 100 for a Dolby Atmos Home Cinema setup

In the presence of a pair of Sonos Era 300 and a Sonos Arc, the sound system would thus offer extremely immersive sound with real Height channels at the front and rear.
