IFA 26 > Haier MS96, MR92 and Micro LED 163'' TVs: Mini LED, AI, up to 115'' and Nintendo partnership

On the occasion of the IFA Berlin 2026 trade show, Haier unveiled the broad outlines of its TV ambitions for the year 2027. On the menu of this upmarket move are new premium TV series MR92 (RGB Mini LED) and MS96 (SQD Mini LED up to 115"), deeper integration of UltraSense AI artificial intelligence, a spectacular 163" Micro LED screen, and the announcement of a mysterious partnership with Nintendo, in addition to the one with UEFA and the Champions League (cf. our news IFA 26 > Haier (TV, household appliances) becomes global partner of the UEFA Champions League).

The IFA trade show in Berlin 2026 is an opportunity for Haier to bring its Home of Intelligent Possibilities vision to life. While the brand is prominently showcasing its smart home appliance solutions, its TV division is certainly not to be outdone, backed by impressive global growth of +21.5% recorded in 2025. The manufacturer also intends to expand its premium TV offering starting in 2027 with the arrival of two new Mini LED ranges, the MR92 and MS96 series. These benefit from a brand-new generation of Smart TV in which artificial intelligence and advanced audiovisual technologies work together to optimize the experience in real time.

Haier MR92 (RGB Mini LED) and MS96 (SQD Mini LED) The Haier MR92 series, ranging from 55'' to 100'' (140 cm to 254 cm), will introduce Pure RGB Light Engine ([abc]RGB[/abc] Mini [abc]LED[/abc]) technology. This uses red, green, and blue light sources directly, combined with Multi Crystal LED technology, to produce purer and more stable colors, with claimed coverage of 100% of the BT.2020 gamut and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. AI Color Crosstalk Control algorithms help limit color interference.

For its part, the Haier MS96 series goes big and will be offered in giant sizes of 85", 100'' and 115 inches. Based on SQD Mini LED technology (see photo above), it delivers a brightness of 5,000 nits while achieving the impressive feat of reaching the very commendable energy class B (confirmed for the 100'' size, see photo below). An important technical detail gleaned at the show: these two new series integrate a panel with a native refresh rate of 144 Hz for optimal clarity and motion fluidity, especially in gaming. They are also compatible with the in-house hOn app for advanced smartphone control and access to exclusive content.

UltraSense AI, intelligent processor and Kef sound The common thread across this entire 2027 premium range is the UltraSense AI platform, developed around Haier’s in-house SR UltraSense processor. A true intelligent engine for the TV, it continuously analyzes images and sound frequencies to automatically adjust settings to viewing conditions. The system is built around four complementary features: AI Cinema (color, contrast, [abc]HDR[/abc], and smoothness management), AI Sound (dialogue clarity and balance), AI Game (responsiveness and fluidity), and AI Eye Caring (adaptation to ambient light for viewing comfort). To top it all off, the sound experience on certain models benefits from the expertise of the famous British [abc]Hi-Fi[/abc] brand Kef.

Google TV, Gemini, solar remote control and Nintendo The connected experience is unsurprisingly based on the Google TV interface, with the notable integration of Gemini, Google’s artificial intelligence, to make search and interactions easier. This focus on environmental efficiency is also reflected in the integration of a remote control equipped with a solar panel on certain models, reducing the use of batteries. In addition to reminding visitors of the brand’s exclusive partnership with the UEFA Champions League until 2031, the presence of Mario Kart Standies at the booth hinted at the announcement of an unprecedented partnership with Japanese manufacturer Nintendo. No further details were given, but a nice surprise could be on the way for gamers.

Haier 163" Micro LED screen Finally, Haier took advantage of this major Berlin event to confirm its move into the absolute ultra-premium segment, with the announcement of a monumental 163" (414 cm) Micro LED screen. A true technological showcase designed for exceptional installations.

Availability is announced for the second quarter of 2027 for the Haier MS96 series, and during 2027 for the MR92 series. Indicative prices are still unknown. For its part, the Haier Micro LED 163'' screen will go on sale in 2027, made to order only, at the very exclusive price of 100,000 euros.
