PS5 Pro, out in April 2023?

We don't believe it moderately, especially after the words of Tom Henderson relayed in a news item this morning in our columns (see our news PS5 Pro abandoned and heading for the PS6?), but the rumor insists: a PlayStation 5 plus mighty -or PS5 Pro- wouldn't arrive any later than this spring. At the same time, everything is possible…

Even the site that initiated this rumor (phonandroid) warns that it should be taken with caution: a new, more powerful PlayStation 5 -or PS5 Pro- will go on sale this April 2023. Yes, yes, in three months…

PS5 Pro in April, not very credible timing but why not…

An anonymous source is quoted, which in the past has already shown its reliability, but the timing still seems inappropriate: the PS5 has been on sale for less than three years, Sony already has a big hardware release to manage in this beginning of the year (the PS VR2 headset), and other more specific rumors have been talking for a while about a new PS5 without an optical disc.

PS5 Pro with liquid cooling system or Watercooling

Anyway, the source in question specifies that one of the major changes of this PS-Pro comes from its liquid cooling system (Watercooling), the same kind that we can see in some PCs for "gamers". Who says better cooling system says more heat caused by increased performance, most likely a new processor signed AMD. We can also expect this Pro version to have a different design to differentiate it from the original PS5.

In short, rumors about the next PlayStation console are flying all over the place…
