The BenQ GV30 is the latest addition to the brand's portable DLP (720p matrix) line of projectors. Notably, it also acts as a Bluetooth 4.2 speaker in 2.1 configuration with two midrange-tweeters and a dedicated subwoofer.
BenQ GV30, ergonomics and LED light source
For video sources, the GV30 allows wireless streaming. It integrates an Android TV 7.0 dongle (see photo below) to access Google Play and live streaming applications via Wi-Fi ac, as well as social media and wireless broadcasting from iOS and Android devices and computers. On the image side, the projection angle of 135 ° is adjustable and the focus and keystone correction are automatic. The LED light source is designed for a lifespan of 30,000 hours. The various connectors, including two HDMI 1.4b inputs, can accommodate wired sources such as game consoles, or content stored on a USB-C storage device.
