Air Pods Pro 2: USB-C, heart rate monitor, and other features

Design and supposed features of the Airpods Pro 2, the next pair of wireless headphones from Apple.

According to information collected by the 52audio site, here are some features that should benefit from the new Apple AirPods Pro supposed to be released before the end of the year.

AirPods Pro 2, increased battery life and heart rate measurement?

We start with the design which should keep the protruding rods, while other rumors predicted their disappearance. So, these AirPods Pro 2 would look a lot like AirPods Pro and AirPods 3. Inside, updated H1 chip will allow for increased audio performance and better power consumption, i.e. improved battery life. The earphones should be compatible with the Find My function to locate them with the iPhone if you misplace them. Also, these new AirPods could measure heart rate by taking the pulse directly in the ear.

AirPods Pro 2, USB-C and assistive listening feature for the hearing impaired?

Advanced functions of the AirPods 3 would also arrive, such as adaptive equalization, audio sharing, or spatialization with tracking of head movement. Also note the replacement of Lightning by USB-C, even if previous rumors claimed the opposite. Finally, a listening aid function could be introduced, like hearing aids for the hearing impaired.
