Crystallization captured in 8K (video)

A simple yet visually captivating chemical transformation was captured in 8K Ultra HD to illustrate a piece of music.

As a music video for the piece Bellatrix composed by Sébastien Guérive, French videographer Thomas Blanchard used a Red Helium 8K camera with a Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x macro lens to capture the process in Ultra HD 8K crystallization chemical, turning a liquid into a solid state.

Hypnotic 8K

In detail, he mixed baking soda with white vinegar, then heated the mixture until it evaporated to form sodium acetate. Obviously, you don't need to know all that to enjoy the visually fascinating result. Thank you chemistry, and thank you 8K.
