Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi Series May 25 on Disney

We suspected that a Disney pundit had accidentally revealed the broadcast window for the new Star Wars series with Ewan McGregor. The precise date has just fallen.

With filming happening last year, the Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi series was starting to have Star Wars fans freaking out, especially after a recent Tweet from Disney+ high-profile Brandon SanGiovanni, who read, " Our very own Obi-Wan will say hello to you on Disney+. May 2022”.

Oups the blunder?

The message had quickly been erased (but some had already captured it), then SanGiovanni had tried to cover his blunder by explaining that he was not talking about the series but about a comic book. Which no one believed, of course.

25 May the fourth

Obviously, we had counted on May 4, May 4 being “Star Wars Day” aka “May the fourth” in English. Either phonetically “May the Force…” or in French “Que la Force…” be with you. In short, the real ones know.

Finally, it will be May 25th. Point bar. A slightly longer wait than expected but which should increase the pleasure tenfold. At least, we hope.
