Presumed innocent, soon the series by the screenwriter of The Undoing

Presumed innocent, the 1990 film by Alan J. Pakula starring Harrison Ford, will be adapted into a series for Apple TV+.

As a reminder, Presumed Innocent featured a brilliant prosecutor (Harrison Ford) suddenly accused of the murder of Carolyn Polhemus (Greta Scacchi), a young and ambitious colleague with whom he had just had a stormy affair.

David E. Kelley on the screenplay

An extremely well-mastered thriller thriller with a finale as relentless as it is chilling. At the controls of the production of this new series, the duo JJ Abrams and Ben Stephenson. But above all, David E. Kelley (Big Little Lie, The Undoing) will be the screenwriter, executive producer and showrunner. He bluntly announces that the series will be "a new interpretation of the original material". To be followed closely, therefore.
