Downton Abbey the movie, a royal 4K Ultra HD

Since the announcement of the imminent visit of King George V (Simon Jones) and his wife Queen Mary (Geraldine James) to Downton Abbey, the Crawleys and their staff have been in turmoil. Fans of the drama series created by Julian Fellowes had two good extra hours in 2019 to say goodbye to the splendor and bustle that punctuated the daily life of the sumptuous mansion at the beginning of the 20th century. Never short of thrilling intrigue and refined humour, the six seasons (broadcast on TF1 from 2011 to 2015) naturally led to a feature film, which calls on the original cast (Jim Carter, Elizabeth McGovern, the bubbly Maggie Smith…).

All the atmosphere of the magnified series

An end clap in aristo-British mode to rediscover in 4K Ultra HD on March 2 at Universal. More than enough to pay homage to the luxurious fabrics and decors of the cult series. On the program: VO Dolby Atmos, VF DTS-HD High Resolution Audio 7.1, as well as all the bonuses from the previous Blu-Ray edition (Conversations between actors as a bonus, The Royal Visit, Faithful to the 20s, Welcome to Downton Abbey, The genius by Julian Fellowes, Downton Abbey series recap).
