CES 22 > Technics EAH-A800, circumaural Bluetooth headphones with active noise reduction

The Japanese manufacturer presented at the CES show in Las Vegas 2022 in early January its latest circum-aural Bluetooth headphones with active noise reduction, the Technics EAH-800.

The Technics EAH-A800 Bluetooth 5.2 headset includes no less than eight microphones, four of which are dedicated to noise reduction (two on each side) to reduce ambient noise and capture your voice in three dimensions. The other four, MEMS models, operate simultaneously to pick up voice with high precision. Namely, two wireless sources can be connected simultaneously to vary the musical pleasures.

Technics EAH-800, use and ergonomics

There is a Transparent mode which picks up and reproduces all outside noise, allowing the user to listen to music or talk on the phone while paying attention to their surroundings. Attention mode picks up sounds in the frequency range of the human voice and reproduces them by intensifying them, making it possible to ensure a conversation without stopping the music. Also note, a helmet detection function for automatic management of the break if it is removed. Also, the music resumes if the headphones are put back on the ears within 60 seconds…

Technics EAH-800, Hi-Res Audio certification and autonomy

The 40mm dynamic drivers feature a polyurethane "Free Edge" diaphragm combined with an acoustic control chamber for clear sound and deep bass with minimal distortion. The Technic EAH-A800 headphones are Hi-Res Audio certified with Bluetooth technology and LDAC compatibility. On the autonomy side, we reach 50 hours of music listening and 30 hours of conversation, and the 15-minute quick charge allows 10 hours of playback. Last precision, the management of voice assistants is essential.

Available in February 2022 in silver and black at an indicative price of 349 euros.
