The manufacturer Xiaomi continues to bet on Quantum Dots technology with the new reference Xiaomi Mi TV Q1E 55.
HDR Dolby Vision and HDR10 +
Based on a 10-bit LCD panel (10-bit FRC Dithering to be precise, i.e. 10 bits simulated from an 8-bit panel), native 50 Hz and Quantum Dots technology for DCI-P3 gamut coverage at 97 %, the Xiaomi Mi TV Q1E 55 TV is equipped with HDR Dolby Vision and HDR10 + compatibilities associated with a Direct LED Global Dimming backlight system for a luminous peak announced at 1000 nits. Video processing is provided by a Quad Core MediaTek MT9611 processor and MEMC (Motion Estimation / Motion Compensation) motion compensation is required.
For the sound section, we note the Dolby Audio and DTS-HD compatibilities, via an acoustic package with two tweeters and four boomers for a total power output of 30 watts.
Android 10 Smart TV
The Android 10 Smart TV function allows you to access the Google ecosystem directly from the TV screen (Google Play Store, Play Movies, Play Music, Google Chrome, etc.) and install your favorite applications via 16 GB of built-in Flash memory (expandable via USB). Also on the program, the integrated ChromeCast functionality to view the content of a smartphone / tablet on a large screen via a compatible application.
