Launched toward the end of October, the iPhone app Chromagraph Camera climbed the App Store rankings to become number one in its category in the United States.
The app that plays at being cinema
What makes this app special is that it was conceived by director Rian “Fuck AI” Johnson, who is behind the Knives Out trilogy or Star Wars: Episode VIII, and developed in collaboration with his director of photography Steve Yedlin and programmer Eric Cameron.
Steve Yedlin’s vision in your pocket
The app lets you take photos in RAW format and process them using techniques that Yedlin developed for his films, giving the image a unique treatment of color, contrast, and grain. After processing, the user can adjust several parameters to achieve a customized result. Available on the App Store at the suggested price of 14.99 euros.
