The story takes us into the sun-drenched world of surfing in Southern California. AJ (Will Sharpe), a reserved high school student from Los Angeles, divides his time between drawing and skateboarding trips with his friends. Kristen (Stephanie Hsu), an energetic surfer, finds in the ocean a tremendous sense of freedom. Their meeting sparks an attraction that gradually turns into a deep love. Kristen then introduces AJ to surfing and shows him the Hawaiian roots of the sport. As their relationship intensifies, AJ sets out to immortalize their story through his drawings, hoping to preserve the memories of their love.
