TV market 2023, Hisense number 2

According to the analysis and market research firms AVC Reno and Omdia, Hisense ranks second behind Samsung for the year 2023. Precision, Hisense must be considered in the broad sense, that is to say like the sum of the Hisense and Toshiba TV brands.

It is all the more important to specify that the Hisense figures also include those of Toshiba because, concurrently with the Chinese manufacturer's announcement, the national competitor TCL also claims second position in the global TV market. In the end, it is important to remember that the two groups display very similar performances, around 13% market share. As a reminder, Samsung is the leader with 18.6% market share, and LG fourth at 11.2%.

A word to Guy Edri, CEO of Vidaa International££££ « Hisense, the global household appliances group, shipped the second largest volume of televisions in the world in 2023, reaching 26.11 million, with a year-on-year growth of 6.4%, according to leading market research institute Omdia. It is also the fastest growing among the world's top five brands for two consecutive years. A few weeks ago, according to another market research institute AVC Revo, Hisense TV shipments ranked second in the world in 2023. At the same time, Hisense is the only brand that has continued to grow over the last six years among the five largest television brands in the world.”
