Inside the iPhone 15 Pro…

Hardly released when one of Apple's latest smartphones, the iPhone 15 Pro, is taken apart (and reassembled, don't worry) to reveal its guts.

While it has just gone on sale, the iPhone 15 Pro is on the operating table on the YouTube channel PBKreviews. The aim of the maneuver is to disassemble the device to see what is happening inside its casing.

iPhone 15 Pro, repairability rating up

In the video below, we see that the interior of the new iPhone resembles last year's 14 Pro, with a few differences. For example, the midframe is redesigned so that the rear glass panel is easier to remove during repairs. Thus, the channel gives a repairability rating of 7/10 to the device, compared to 6.5 for last year's iPhone 14 Pro Max (click to also see its teardown).

iPhone 15 Pro , zoom on the screen and the battery

We still find the L-shaped battery, as well as the metal plate on the motherboard and the graphite film on the back of the screen for heat dissipation. Graphite more present this year given the increased power of the iPhone 15 Pro, generating more heat. We learn in passing that the battery has a capacity of 3,274 mAh compared to 3,200 mAh on its predecessor, for an autonomy announced however as identical. Interesting when you know that Apple never communicates on the capacity of its batteries (nor on the RAM memory).
